Mr. James \\"Martin\\" Wilson, 79 of Tar Heel, entered into eternal rest March 4, 2007 at Woodhaven Nursing Home in Lumbeton
Mr. Wilson was the owner and operator of Wilson\\'s Grocery Store in Tar Heel for forty-two years, 1948-1990. After Mr. Wilson retired he went into Home Health and Hospice Care in Robeson County.
Mr. Wilson is survived by his wife of 58 years,Mrs. Ruby Bedsole Wilson of the home; two sons, Donald M. Wilson of Herndon, Virginia, and Douglas L. Wilson of Dunn, North Carolina; four daughters, Joanne W. Grimsley of Baton Rouge,Louisiana, Sandra W. Sessoms of White Oak, North Carolina, Patricia W. Meachum of Bluefield, West Virginia,and Sharon W. Autry of Dublin,North Carolina; one brother Baker Wilson of Tar Heel North Carolina, and one sister, Louise W. Ilardi of Lumberton, North Carolina; eleven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 6, 2007 from 5:00 until 8:00 pm at Bladen Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 7,2007 at 11 a.m. at Tar Heel Baptist Church with Rev. Thomas Willoughby officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
