James Wade Williams, 79, of Bladenboro, passed away on Thursday, April 16, 2020. He was preceded in death by his parents: Thomas and Lottie Williams; son, Ricky Devone Williams; daughter-in-law, Ida Williams; sister, Barbara Stanley and brother, Tommy Williams. Wade leaves behind his wife of 35 years, Candy Hester Williams; two sons: Tony Williams of Lumberton, Christopher Williams (Amanda) of Lumberton; step-son, Shannon Smith (Regina) of Bladenboro; two step-daughters: Donna Allen (Mark) and Ivey Willoughby (Eric), both of Bladenboro; brother, Ronnie Williams (Doris) of Williams Township; two sisters, Sandra Hardee (Paul) of Whiteville, Lori Ann Etheridge (Brian); nine grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and a special beloved fur baby, Toby.
Wade loved God, his family, his church and his fur baby, Toby. He was a people person and never met a stranger. He will be greatly missed.
A drive-in funeral service will be held at 3pm on Tuesday, April 21, 2020 at Northside Baptist Church in Bladenboro with Dr. Ricky Donaldson and Russell Benson officiating service. Vehicles will be directed in and out of parking lot. We ask that everyone remain in your vehicles. A private burial will follow service.
