Janice Bullard Dowless

Janice Faye Bullard Dowless, 63, of Bladenboro, passed away on Friday, September 28, 2018 at Duke Raleigh Hospital. She was preceded in death by her parents: Bennie and Margie Bullard; brother: John Oxendine and niece: Jamie Bullard. Janice is survived by her husband: David Dowless of the home; two daughters: Victoria Dowless of Lumberton, Alexandria Dowless of the home; two brothers: Joseph Bullard (Shirlean) of Lumberton, James Bullard of Bladenboro; two sisters: Judy Bullard of Bladenboro, Jacqueline Hester (Jimmy) of Dublin; grandchild: Nevaeh Lynn Bullard; niece: Anita Phillips; nephew: Jeremiah Bullard; great multitude of other nieces and nephews, three great-nieces and extended family whom she loved dearly.

The family will receive friends from 6-8pm on Monday, October 1st at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home in Elizabethtown. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 2nd at Community Baptist Church at 3pm in Bladenboro. Rev. Patrick Sykes, Rev. Cory Nance, Pastor Robert Ohlmann and Pastor Deatra Locklear will be officiating the services. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
