Janice German

Janice Sue Allen German, 74, of Bladenboro passed away Saturday, February 25, 2023 at her home. She was born on August 29, 1948 to the late Benard Allen and Annie Carroll Atkinson in Robeson County. She was preceded by her brothers: James Allen, Dennis Allen and Randy Atkinson.

Janice leaves behind her spouse of 54 years, Zebbie German of the home; son, Garrett German and wife Vanessa of Elizabethtown; daughter, Roxanne G. Brisson and husband Randy of Bladenboro; brothers: Larry Atkinson, Benny Allen, Duane Allen; sisters: Debbie Guyton, Noreen McQuage; grandchildren: Tyler Brisson, Levi German, Noah German and great-grandchild, Avery Brisson.

Janice adored her family and the memories she created with each of them. She was a member of Center Road Baptist Church where she sang in the choir weekly. Janice was also involved with the preparation of Vacation Bible School at the church. Some of her hobbies included: mowing grass, cooking, crafts, painting, shopping, and yard sales. Her compassionate and forgiving soul will be forever remembered by all those who knew and loved her.

The family will receive friends from 2-2:45pm on Monday, February 27th at Center Road Baptist Church. A funeral service will be held at 3pm with Rev. Adam Self and Rev. Leon Warren officiating service. Burial will follow in the New Pait Cemetery in Bladenboro.
