Jean “Judy” Ellen Skipper Vause, 73, of Bladenboro went home to be with the Lord on May 4, 2022. She was preceded by her parents, Carson Skipper and Waline Fores Skipper and three brothers, Carson Skipper, Liston Skipper, and Danny Skipper. Judy leaves behind her loving husband, David Vause of the home, sons Buddy Pait of Bladenboro and Edward McKenna (Marsha Jo) of Lumberton, daughters Tina Eason (Jerry Dwayne) of Bladenboro and Genia Pait of Bladenboro, and eight grandchildren, April Pait, Randall Callihan (Tiffany), Jason Eason (Taylor), Hunter McKenna, Michael McKenna, Carson McKenna, Colin Hewitt and Joseph Hewitt and four great grandchildren, Cole Callihan, Anna Robinson, Greylon Robinson and Tony Robinson.
Judy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her grandkids who could do no wrong in her eyes. She also enjoyed going to the beach, finding yard sells, shopping and listening to Elvis. Judy always kept her home spotless, especially her windows. She could see fingerprints from across the room and knew who they belonged to. The love she gave her family and her genuine concern for others will be dearly missed.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Friday, May 6, 2022 at Bethel Church in Bladenboro. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at Bethel Church with Rev. Oneil Parker officiating. Burial will follow the service in the Memory Lane Cemetery in Bladenboro.
