Jerry Register

Jerry Monroe Register, age 70, of Elizabethtown passed away on Thursday, September 6, 2018 at Cape Fear Valley/Bladen Healthcare. He is preceded in death by his parents: James Monroe Register and Lena Mae Melvin Register and half-brother Melvin Nunnery and wife Beauty. Jerry is survived by one aunt, Betty Traynham of Wilmington and many cousins.

Jerry was a simple, very quiet man. He was legally blind but managed to care for himself for many years. He enjoyed attending church and listening to gospel music. He was a friend to all those that knew him and will be missed.

A graveside service will be held on Sunday, October 7, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Bladen Memorial Gardens in Elizabethtown.
