Jessie Evans

Jessie Lee Evans, age 77 of Elizabethtown, died Monday, May 4, 2015. She is preceded in death by her parents, Lesley Evans and Addie Evans Bruce; sisters, Helen Walters,Hilda Lewis and Shirley Thompson. She is survived by a daughter, Melody Vause and husband Wilton of Council; a brother, James L. Evans of Lumberton; 2 grandchildren, Evan Vause and wife Jessica of York, SC and Ellen West and husband Phillip of Lumberton; and 3 great grandchildren, Gabbi West of Lumberton, Matthew Vause of York, SC, and Maddux Vause.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at Hollywood Cemetery in Lumberton at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Funeral Fund of Jessie Evans, c/0 Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home, PO Box 3150, Elizabethtown NC 28337.
