Jewel Sessoms

Bladenboro - Mrs. Jewel Lennon Sessoms, 80, of Bladenboro, died Tuesday, February 20, 2007, in Duke University Medical Center in Durham.



Mrs. Sessoms was preceded in death by her husbands, Oscar Barr and Lonnie A. Sessoms; a son, Gene Barr; a brother, Carlton Lennon; and two sisters, Melba Elkins and Margaret Bennett.



A church service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 22, 2007, in Galeed Baptist Church with Dr. Mack Roberts officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.



A visitation will take place from 7 to 9 tonight at Bladen Funeral Home in Elizabethtown.



Mrs. Sessoms is survived by her brothers, Bobby Lennon of Bladenboro and Lloyd Lennon of Winston-Salem; sisters, Linda Brisson of Dublin and Evelyn Pait and Nona Bass, both of Winston-Salem; and daughter-in-law, Marilyn Barr of Bladenboro.
