Jimmie Sandy White

Jimmie Sandy White, 76, of Bladenboro passed away on Wednesday, November 1, 2023, while at UNC Southeastern in Lumberton. He was born in Bladen County on June 13, 1947, to the late Sandy White and Lennie Williamson White. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers Ronnie White, Gary White, Sandy White Jr. and four sisters, Louise Kemp, Dorothy White, Frances Kirkland, and Sarah White.

Jimmie is survived by his three sons Donald White (Fiancé Lisa Taylor) of Lumberton, Michael White of Greenville, and Joseph White of Lumberton, two daughters Cynthia Woodell and Sharon Locklear (Dustin), both of Lumberton, brothers Donnie White (Ellen) of Asheville, Steve White (Lydia) of Washington State, sisters Sandra White of Raleigh, Gail Autry of Bladenboro, and eight grandchildren Justin, Joseph Jr., Kasondra, Garrett, Malachi, Kadia, Stony, and Kyleigh.

Jimmie was a Godly family man. He cherished his family and his friends. Some of his best times were spent journeying the highways through God’s countryside whether on his Harley Davidson or driving his pickup. Jimmie loved trips to the mountains and camping.

He will be dearly missed.

A graveside service will be held at 3:30pm on Friday, November 3, 2023, in the Bladen Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Elizabethtown with Pastor Mike Bowen officiating.
