Jimmy Taylor

Jimmy Nathan Taylor, 79, of Elizabethtown passed away Tuesday, November 24, 2015. He is preceded in death by his parents, Miller and Lucille Taylor; brother, Oren Taylor; and daughters, Janice Teresa and Cynthia Faye Taylor. He is survived by his wife, Janice Smith Taylor; sons, Greg Taylor and wife Pam of Elizabethtown, Jonathan Taylor and wife Sharon of Roxboro, Stephen Taylor and wife Lisa of Elizabethtown and Richard Bailey and wife Shirley of Elizabethtown; a daughter, Vanessa Ussery and husband Scott of Elizabethtown; brothers, Ron Taylor and wife Vickie of Elizabethtown and Sammy Davis of Elizabethtown; sisters, Sally Gooden of Elizabethtown and Judy Jones and husband Mike of Elizabethtown, fifteen grandchildren, Justin, Derek, Nick, R.J., Blake, Jackson, Elise, Lydia, Simon, Gabriel, Daniel, Jordan, Emily, Samantha, and Ryan; and five great-grandchildren, Brisson, Miller, Anderson, Abby, and Camden.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 25, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Friday, November 27, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. at Dublin First Baptist Church with the Rev. Cameron McGill and Rev. Gerald Hodges officiating. Burial will follow at Allen Cemetery.
