John Russ

John O. Russ, 47, of Elizabethtown, died Wednesday, November 15, 2006 at Bladen County Hospital.

Born September 11, 1959 in Bladen County, he was the son of Nita Russ Baker and the late Marvin Russ.

He is survived by his mother, Nita Russ Baker of Elizabethtown, NC; sons, Christopher John Russ of Tennessee, and John William Russ of Dublin; brother, Paul Marvin Russ of White Oak; sister, Janice Russ Johnson of Bladenboro; and one grandchild, Corey William Russ of Dublin.

The visitation will be held from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. Thursday, November 16, at Bladen Funeral Home and at other times at the home. The funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 17, 2006 at Dublin First Baptist Church with Rev. Cameron McGill, Rev. David Lewis, and Rev. Steve Butler officiating. Burial will follow in Storms Family Cemetery.
