Johnny Autry

Johnny Clyde Autry, 70, of Clarkton, passed away on Saturday, November 25, 2017. He is survived by wife: Barbrey S. Autry of the home; step-son: Paul Peterson of Elizabethtown; daughter: Tammy Mayers and husband Ray of Clarkton; three brothers: Earl Autry of Elizabethtown, James Autry of Hampstead, Paul Aury of Winston Salem; two sisters: Bernice Messick of Clarkton, Melba Jean Tolifson of Tennessee and two grandchildren.

Johnny worked with the Bladen County School system. In his spare time, Johnny enjoyed fishing, boating, and going on cruises.

The family will receive friends on Monday, November 27, 2017 from 6-8pm at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home in Elizabethtown. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at 2pm in Old Field Cemetery with Rev. Jimmy Strole officiating service.
