Johnny Mayers

Johnny Walter Mayers, 58, of Elizabethtown, NC passed away Monday, April 29, 2013. He is preceded in death by his father Howard Foster Mayers Sr. and one brother Donnie Mayers. He is survived by his mother Frances Dixon and husband Eumneese of Bladenboro, his wife Thelma Mayers of the home, two sons Michael F. Mayers and wife Ashley of Fairmont, and Jeremy Humphries and wife Kathy of Elizabethtown, three daughters: Tammy Jason and husband Richard of Parkton, Samantha Justice and husband Richard of St. Pauls and Tammy Mayers and husband Ray of Clarkton; one brother Howard F. Mayers Jr and wife Ramaylee of Pembroke, one sister Linda Bundy and husband Dennis of Lumberton, 11 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 2, 2013 at Bladen Gaskins Funeral Home from 4:00 - 4:45 pm followed by a funeral service in the chapel at 5:00 pm with Rev. Howard F. Mayers Jr., Rev. Jerry Smith, and Rev. Shannon Ross officiating. Burial will follow at Bladen Memorial Gardens.
