Joseph Haroldeen McKnight

Joseph Haroldeen McKnight, 85, of Bladenboro, passed away on January 07, 2024 at UNC Health Southeastern Hospital in Lumberton, NC. Joseph was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Marybell Bullard McKnight; wife, Christine McKnight; daughter, Thomasine Cheshire; grandson, Sammy Cheshire; great-grandchildren: Bryson Lewis and Baylee Cheshire and brother, James McKnight.

Joseph leaves behind his son, Harold Lewis (Cathy)of Bladenboro; daughter, Jo Allbright (Howard) of Bladenboro; brothers: Lloyd McKnight (Patricia), and Floyd McKnight (Edith), all of Bladenboro; sister, Peggy Pope of Bladenboro; grandchildren: Christy Cheshire, Kimberly Cheshire (fiancé Jason Robinson), McRae Lewis (Kelly Lewis); great-grandchildren: Scottie Storms (Alisha Jackson), Nicholas Storms, Justin Lewis; Morgan Babson, Peyton Robinson, and Camryn Robinson;  great, great-grandchildren: Kayson Storms, Charlotte Lewis, Bryson Lewis, Jr, Grayson Sykes, and Nevaeh Floyd.

Joseph was a devoted Christian who loved his family very much. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. His memory will forever be remembered by all who loved and knew him.

A funeral service will be held at 2pm on Thursday, January 11^th at Northside Baptist Church in Bladenboro with Rev. Howard Allbright and Russell Benson officiating. Family will receive friends immediately following service. The family will hold a private burial.
