Judith Dove

Judith “Judy” Woodell Dove, 74, of Tar Heel, NC passed away on October 25, 2021 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward Lemons and Johnsie Thomas Lemons, and grandson, Dylan Norton. Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Wayne Dove of the home, sons, Robbie Norton (Heather) of Elizabethtown, Ritchie Norton (Melanie) of Fayetteville, brother Jerry Lemons (Margaret) of Sanford, sister Kay Huskett of Sanford, and four grandchildren, Ian Lucas, Tucker Norton, Luke Norton and Kathryn Norton.

Judy was a loving lady with a heart of gold. She always treated you like family whether you were or not and you never left hungry or dissatisfied when at her home. She could cook a southern meal that would melt in your mouth. Her home and her yard were kept with pride. Judith enjoyed spending time with her family and trips to Maggie Valley. Her sweet spirit and southern hospitality will not soon be forgotten.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am  on Thursday, October 28, 2021, in the Allen Cemetery off of Bethel Church Road in Dublin with Rev. Cameron McGill and Rev. Warren Hill officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Lake Church, 1930 White Lake Dr., Elizabethtown, NC 28337.
