Julian English

Julian Suggs English, 88, of Bladenboro passed away on Thursday, October 10, 2019. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward English and Katie Suggs English, one son, Andy English and five brothers: David, Bobby, Edward, Maxie and James. Julian leaves behind his loving wife of 64 years, Wilma H. English of the home, one daughter, Julie English and Robert Jones of Foxfire Village, one great grandson, Luke Sparks and a special friend, Debbie Edwards.

Julian loved the Lord, his family and his cats. He was known to most as “Birdhouse Man” for he enjoyed building bird houses for his family and the community.  Julian absolutely adored celebrating Christmas with the lights, the music and the decorations. Julian had a great sense of humor. He lived life to the fullest. His great wit and loving spirit will truly be missed.

The family will receive friends from 2-3 pm on Sunday, October 13, 2019 at Bladen Gaskins Funeral Home in Elizabethtown. A funeral service will follow in the chapel at 3 pm. Services will conclude in the McKinnon Cemetery in Abbottsburg.

The family would like to express their appreciation for the love and support given to Julian by his adoptive daughter, Debbie Edwards.
