Karen Gilmore

Karen J. Gilmore, 85 of Elizabethtown entered into rest on Monday, May 20, 2024. She was born on June 14, 1938, to Dean and Marion Roberts Jeffrey. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert Gilmore, three brothers and one sister.

Karen loved her family, enjoyed going to different functions with her grandchildren, helping her husband on the farm, and working in her rose bushes. Karen was a people person, who loved to visit with her neighbors and watch hummingbirds. You would often find Karen knitting, sewing, or watching her favorite sports on TV. She attended Wesley Chapel. All will miss Karen’s big heart and loving spirit.

She is survived by her daughters, Faye Boyne and husband Ron; their children, Cassie Boyne, Steven Boyne and wife Wisdom and their fur babies, Anya and Ashe; Carol Gore and her children Ryan Drake, Tabitha Drake, Sarah Taylor and her husband Patrick,  Amber Noel and her husband Lucas; five great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, May 24, 2024, at 1:00pm at Wesley's Chapel with the Reverend Jonathan Hayes.
