Kathleen Hardy Bryant

Kathleen Hardy Bryant, 80, of Bladenboro passed away on Sunday, November 10, 2024, at her home. She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy Hardy and Lillian Bennifield Hardy; husband, Daniel “Leo” Bryant; grandson, Randy Kyle Butler; brothers: Cecil and Leo Hardy; and sister, Louise Looney.

Kathleen leaves behind her son, Richard Bryant of Bladenboro; daughters: Kathy Bryant Brisson and husband Ronnie, Helen Bryant Martin, and Karen Bryant Burney and husband Red, all of Bladenboro, sister Ethel Summers of Florida, 11 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews that loved their "Aunt Kat" dearly.

Kathleen was a loving sister, wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family whether it was family gatherings, beach vacations, or cruising the Atlantic. She loved to cook for them and watch them enjoy eating what she cooked especially if she knew it was their favorite. Kathleen had a wonderful sense of humor. She enjoyed laughing and talking with everyone she met and loved for folks to come visit with her. Some of her best loved times were trips to the beach condo for the Fourth of July, eating seafood with family and friends and shopping. The legacy of love and laughter will not soon be forgotten by all that knew and loved her.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, at Greater Vision Church in Bladenboro from 2-3 pm with a funeral service immediately following at 3 pm with Pastor Elvin Meares officiating. A burial will follow the services in the Lewis Cemetery in Bladenboro.
