Kathleen Wilkins

Kathleen Dowless Wilkins, 71, of Bladenboro passed away Monday, April 28, 2014. She was preceded in death by her parents Emery Williams and Mazie Dial, two daughters, Wendy Wilkins and Cindy Strickland, one brother Jimmy Berrett and two grandchildren Lisa Strickland and Kristy Yarborough. Survivors include her husband Kenneth Wilkins of the home, son Kennie Wilkins and wife Jennifer of Bladenboro, daughter Rhonda W. Fields and husband Jay of Lumberton, three brothers: David Williams, Danny Williams, and Emery Williams Jr., all of Virginia; seven sisters: Tempie Hays of Prince George, VA; Peggy Turner of Dinwiddie, VA; Connie Chalaire of Texas, Sandy Johnson of Midlothian, VA; Sheila Rodgers of California, Sherry Kidd of Sutherland, VA; and Donna Watson of VA; eight grandchildren: TJ, Chassidy, Josh, Jessica H., Tori, Andrew, Jessica G and Jenna, and six great grandchildren: Tiana, Allie, Eric, Landon, Elijah and Silas
The family will receive friends Wednesday, April 30, 2014 from 5-7pm at Butters Baptist Church in Bladenboro. Funeral services will be Thursday, May 1, 2014 at 1pm at Butters Baptist Church in Bladenboro officiated by Rev. Bobby Winebarger and Rev. Gerald Wilson. Burial will follow the services in the Butters Cemetery.
