Katie King

Katie Kinlaw King, 101, of Bladenboro went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at Lower Cape Fear Hospice House in Whiteville. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Kinlaw and Sally Evers Kinlaw, husband, Robert Clyde King Sr., one daughter, Judy King, and siblings, Vera Hester, Emma Dale Simmons, Tally Kinlaw, Charlie Kinlaw and Irvin Kinlaw. Left to cherish her memory are three sons: Robert Clyde King Jr. of Lumberton; Benny King (Jane) of Bladenboro; and J. W. King (Libby) of Bladenboro; one daughter, Laverne Register of Holly Springs, seven grandchildren: Gary King (Patti), Tim King, Lynn Ransom (Jonathan), Robbie King (Ginger), Katherine Ransom (Jason), Karen Lavoie (Scot), and Dwayne Register (Jessica), and 10 great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, February 5, 2021 at 2:00 pm in Lewis Cemetery in Bladenboro with Rev. Brody Pope officiating. All attendees are respectfully asked to wear masks and practice social distancing.
