Kenneth “Kenny” Norman Tatum Sr., 59, of Dublin passed away on Friday, October 16, 2020. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Robin N. Tatum of the home; one son, Kenneth Tatum Jr. (Desire) of KY; one daughter, Brittany Tatum of Elizabethtown and six grandchildren, Calleigh (Mae) Smith, Ayden Smith, Bennett Smith, Gabriel Tatum, Damion Tatum, and Willow Tatum. Kenny was preceded in death by his parents, William Allen Tatum Sr., and Virginia Horne Tatum, and two brothers, David Tatum Sr., and Bill Jr. Tatum.

Kenny cherished his family as well as his church. He loved spending time with his grandchildren. He was a people person who loved to talk and was known for giving lots of hugs. Kenny was always busy doing something. Fishing, golfing, baseball and watching his beloved Tar Heel teams were his favorite past times. His outgoing personality and loving spirit will certainly be missed.

The family will receive friends from 3-4 pm on Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at Bladen Gaskins Funeral Home in Elizabethtown. A graveside service will follow at 4:30 pm in the Tatum Grimes Cemetery in Tar Heel with Rev. Warren Hill officiating.
