Lee Duncan

Lee Roy Duncan, 82, of Bladenboro died Friday, July 15, 2011, at home.



Mr. Duncan is survived by his wife of 63 years, Vestine Pait Duncan, and five children. Four sons: Gary and wife, Mary Jo, of St. Paul, Minnesota; Art of Gloucester, VA; Bobby and wife, Ramona, of Bladenboro, NC; and Jeffery of Newport News, VA; one daughter, Darlene Simmons and husband, Kirk, of Williamsburg, VA; two sisters, Ann Pierce and Betty Ward of Fayetteville, NC; one brother, Paul Duncan of Milwaukee, Wisc.; 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.



He is predeceased by his parents, Roy Davis Duncan and Sally Long Duncan.



Mr. Duncan retired from Newport News Shipbuilding in 1991. He was a member of Community Baptist Church.



Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 PM, Sunday, July 17, at Community Baptist Church. The funeral will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, July 18, at Community Baptist Church with Rev. Robert Oldman officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
