Leland Hester

Leland Lee Hester, age 64, of Elizabethtown passed away on Thursday, May 16, 2013.
Leland loved the outdoors. Gardening and fishing were a passion of his. He loved his family and friends dearly and he will be missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Craven and Lessie Deaver Hester and one brother, T.C. Hester.

He is survived by wife, Jo Ann L. Hester of the home; two sons, Lee Hester and partner Kevin of Wilmington and Ryan Hester and his partner Selina of Elizabethtown; one brother, Alford Hester and wife Mary of Fayetteville; two sisters, Lula Mae Edwards of Bladenboro and Ruby M. Edwards of Shallotte; three granddaughters, Mikaila, Dakota and Mariah and three grandsons, Leo, Wyatt and Christian.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 19, 2013 from 7:00 until 9:00 pm at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 20, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home with Rev. Randy Andrews officiating. Burial will follow at Bladen Memorial Gardens.
