Lena Peckman

On October 22, 2015, Lena Gray Perry Peckman transitioned from this life into her glorious one prepared by our Heavenly Father. Her four daughters, Sue Kennedy (John) of Elizabethtown, Donna Curtis (Don) of Ooltewah, TN, Kathryn Shaw (Buddy) of Elizabethtown and Sarah Jordan (Richard) of Gastonia, NC remain to celebrate her homegoing. She is also survived by seven loving grandchildren, David Kennedy, Eddie Worton, Stephanie Young, Michelle Kaufman, Katy Kincaid, Sohmer Britt and Natalie Jordan as well as twelve great-grandchildren and her beloved dog, Bella.

Private family burial will be held on Monday, October 26, 2015. A memorial service celebrating her life will occur on November 21, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home, 3131 Martin Luther King Drive, Elizabethtown, NC.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lower Cape Fear Hospice Foundation (Angel House, Whiteville, NC) 1414 Physician's Drive, Wilmington, NC 28401. Words cannot express our heartfelt appreciation to the staff of Angel House and Dr. Berry.
