Leona Stewart

Mrs. Leona B. Stewart, 91 of Bladenboro formally of Indiana passed away on June 2, 2012.



She is preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Olive Hixson Blood; her husband Loren Swain, a daughter Marsha Simerage and a granddaughter, Cassie Cheatham. She was a devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She loved doing art work and her family considered her to be a home style artist.



She is survived by two sons, Greg Swain of California; David Stewart of Indiana; a daughter Connie Howell of Bladenboro; a brother, Jack Blood of Arkansas, eighteen grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren.



The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home from 9:30 until 10:45 with funeral services following at 11:00am. Burial will follow in Pine Crest Cemetery.
