Levie Cain

Levie C. Cain Jr., age 78, of Bladenboro passed away on Monday, September 3, 2018. He is preceded in death by his parents: Levie Clarence Cain Sr. and Appie Waterson Cain, one infant son: William Keith Cain, two sisters Joann Edwards and Carol Strickland, and one brother: Kenneth Cain. Levie Leaves behind his loving wife of 53 years: Shelby Kinlaw Cain of the home, son Reggie Cain and wife Amy of Concord; one sister: Vickie Taylor and husband Harold of Bladenboro; sister-in-law: Vickie Cain of Bladenboro; two grandsons: Matthew Ryan Cain and Mason Samuel Cain, several nieces and nephews, and very special friends: WJ "Dub" and Carolyn Lewis.

Levie was born and raised in a very loving family in Bladen County. He was a fun, loving person who adored his family, especially his grandsons: Matthew and Mason who were the apples of his eyes. Levie taught Sunday school at West Bladenboro Baptist Church for 38 years and served as a Deacon for about the same amount of time. He enjoyed gardening and giving the fruits of his labor away to others.

The family will receive friends from 7-9 pm on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at West Bladenboro Baptist Church in Bladenboro. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, September 6th at West Bladenboro. Burial will follow the services in Pine Crest Cemetery in Bladenboro.
