Linda Willoughby

Linda Blackmon Willoughby, age 64 of Bladenboro, died Wednesday, August 6, 2014 at Highland Acres in Lumberton. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Ray Willoughby; brothers, Bill and Curtis Blackmon; and sisters, Betty Anderson, Ester Edwards, and Alice Blackmon. She is survived by her brothers, Johnny Blackmon and wife Brenda, Bennie Blackmon, Sammy Blackmon and wife Sandy; sister, Mary Lou Autry; daughters, Angela Willoughby Harrison and husband Luther , Sharon Parker and Beth Parker and husband Oneil; one daughter of the heart, Wendy Datta and husband Deepak and their three children of Arizona; sons, Jamie Willoughby, Michael Willoughby and wife Libby; grandchildren, Maranda Rogers and husband Travis, Kayla Parker, Matthew Parker and wife Amanda, Victoria Parker and fiance Chad Nealy, Taylor Parker and fiance Austin Pate, Razz Willoughby, Ethan Nance, A.J. Willoughby and Kasey Willoughby; and great grandchildren, Shaylynn Nealy and Braxton Parker.

Linda was a certified Nurse Assistant and Ward Secretary for Southeastern Regional Medical Center for 15 years. Her last years were spent enjoying each day with the loves of her life, her children and grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 9, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 at Bladenboro Church of God. Services will be conducted on Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at the Bladenboro Church of God, officiated by Pastor Bruce Brumfield. Burial will follow at Singletary Cemetery on Old Boardman Road.
