Lloyd Tatum

Lloyd Addison Tatum, 76, received his angel wings after a battle with many health issues.  He passed away on April 16, 2021 at his home surrounded by his beloved family.

Lloyd was born and raised in Elizabethtown NC.  He retired from PWC in Fayetteville in 1999 after 32 years of service.  Lloyd was blessed to truly enjoy his retirement years, working on the farm, hunting, fishing, and helping people.  He was “one of a kind”, with the biggest heart, quick wit, and a hard work ethic.  He was a very giving man, always trying to help people out in their time of need.

Lloyd was preceded in death by his parents Taylor & Mary Jane Tatum, his brother Robert Tatum, and his brother TJ Tatum.   He is survived by sisters Jayne Lawson of Myrtle Beach SC; Lucille Jernigan of Elizabethtown NC;  brother Rev Charlie Tatum and wife Sharon of Clarkton NC; daughter, Vickie Baker and her husband James of Fayetteville NC; daughter, Penny Kleinschmidt and husband Scott of Knoxville TN; son, Lloyd Tatum of Lumber Bridge NC; son, Jack Brown of Bladenboro NC; special friend Austine Phillips and family; 6 grandchildren, Keith Hardee, Jason Hardee, Jenna McCormick, Christopher Kleinschmidt, Brooke Kleinschmidt, and Coty Tatum; 7 great grandchildren, Skyler Hardee, McKenna Hardee, Chloe Hardee, Erin McCormick, Jeremy Efaw, Michael Hardee, and Crew Kleinschmidt.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, April 24th at 12:30 pm at the Davis Cemetery located off of Sweet Home Church Rd. on Fred Poole Trl in Elizabethtown, NC.  Come as you are, jeans and camo are welcome.
