Lois Lee Guyton Yandle, 83, of Dublin passed away on Monday, September 21, 2020. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ligie and Mamie Guyton; granddaughter, Stephanie Autumn Richardson; grandson, Shawn Wilkes; twin sister, Dorothy Jordan and brother, Wilburt Guyton. Lois leaves behind one son, Kenneth Lee Yandle, Sr. of Clarkton; one daughter, Gale Yandle Weathers of Dublin; three grandchildren: Kenneth Lee Yandle, Jr., Brooke Morton, Haylee Weathers; three great-grandchildren: Ryan Yandle, Sidney Hales, Christopher Novinski (which they both called each other “darling”); two sisters-in-law: Linda Yandle and Glenis Thompson; best friend, Margie Dew; several nieces and nephews.

Lois worked in the restaurant business all her life and was very caring to her patrons. She was a devoted mother, raising two children all by herself. She built them a home in Clarkton and would always do without to provide for her children. She raised them with morals, teaching them about the goodness of the Lord. Her “darling” was the apple of her eye and she was the best “Mommy” in the world.

A graveside service will be held at 11am on Friday, September 25th in the Clarkton Cemetery with Rev. Jim Woodruff officiating. All attendees are asked to practice social distancing.

At other times, the family will receive friends at the home of Gale Weathers 204 2nd Street Dublin, NC 28332. All visitors are requested to wear a mask.
