Lonnie Susan Nance Phillips, 60, of Greensboro, entered into eternal rest Sunday, July 1, 2007.
Mrs. Phillips was preceded in death by her parents, Lonnie Gilmer Nance and Lillie Anderson Nance; one son, Dewayne Brigman and one daughter, Christal Chambers.
She leaves behind her husband of thirty years, Eldrige Carmon Phillips of Greensboro, NC; one son and his wife, Kyle and Jodie Phillips of Greensboro, NC; a daughter, Megan Phillips of Hubert, NC; two granddaughters, Avarie Chambers of Council, NC and Haliegh Phillips of Greensboro, NC; and one grandson, Andrew Chambers of Council, NC. She is also survived by four sisters and brothers-in-law, Betty and Ray LaMarr of Gibsonville, NC, Doris and Edgar Ishee of Stringer, Miss., Barbara and Bill Frizzell of Gibsonville, NC, Kaye Comer and Doug Tallent of Greensboro, NC; two brothers-in-law, Sammy and wife, Linda Phillips of Council, NC and Kenneth Phillips of Kinston, NC; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
She also leaves behind a special friend who is like her brother, Knox Freeman, Jr. of Council, NC.
Visitation is planned for Monday, July 2, 2007 from 7:00 until 9:00 pm at Bladen Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, July 3, 2007 at 11:00 am at Mt. Horeb Presbyterian Church.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a Hospice Association of your choice.
