Louise Brisson

Louise Davis Brisson, age 78, of Tar Heel passed away Thursday, June 20, 2013. She was preceded in death by her parents Samuel and Goldie Davis, her husband Irvin Shelton Brisson, and two sisters: Julia Williams and Marilyn Barnes. She is survived by one son Terry Brisson and wife Sheila of Tar Heel, three daughters: Donna Barnes and husband Dale of Holden Beach, Phyllis King and husband Larry King of Dublin, and Shelby Shuler and husband Steve of Wilson; three sisters: Jean Debnam of Dallas, TX, Margaret Wright of Houston, TX, and Sarah Brisson of Seluda, SC; eight grandsons, 16 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
She loved her family dearly; especially her grandchildren who were the apple of her eye. She enjoyed cooking meals for them all. Ms. Louise loved to shop and was well known for her wide variety of hats at the nursing home. She will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved her.
The family will receive friends Saturday, June 22, 2013 from 6-8 pm at Bladen Gaskins Funeral Home in Elizabethtown. Funeral Services will be 1:00 pm Sunday, June 23, 2103 at Bethel Baptist Church in Dublin with Dr. Mac Roberts, Rev. Jerry Beck, and Rev. Billy Carlyle officiating. Burial will follow at Allen Cemetery.
