Louise was a loving wife for seventy years. She was a nurturing mother and mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to everyone she met. Her greatest joy in life was serving her Lord and Savior and her family. It has been said many times that "food" was her "Love Language"! For anyone visiting in her home this love was quickly experienced. She always enjoyed cooking for others and making sure they had something to eat.

Louise was a supportive wife, always encouraging her husband and helping with many endeavors of work on the farm, community, church and home. Her husband was known to say of Louise, "she has never disappointed me." Their love story is evident in their faith, their family and their community. Louise used her gifts for caring for others through her family and community. Louise's legacy is the family she helped create. Through her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, she shared her love of Jesus and her ability to celebrate life together. Prior to her death, she had many conversations with her family and mentioned how joyous it will be to be in heaven. Her greatest desire is that her friends and family will accept Jesus so they too will know eternal life.
