Louise Watson McCormick 78, of Elizabethtown, entered into eternal rest Saturday, May 24, 2008.

Ms. McCormick was born in Brunswick County to Willard Franklin and Rena Bass Watson. She raised produce with her brother, Rufus, to share and sell to local residents.

She was predeceased by her parents; four brothers, Joseph "Buck", James, Willard Franklin, Jr., and Lewis; and four sisters, Elizabeth "Lib", Doris, Mary, and Betty.

Ms. McCormick is survived by two daughters, Connie G. McCormick of Summerville, South Carolina and Charlene M. Taylor of Elizabethtown; two brothers, J.C. Watson of Henderson, and Rufus Watson of Elizabethtown; and three sisters, Minnie Floyd of Traskwood, Arizona, Lou Neal Taylor of Elizabethtown, and Dixie Hepburn of Prattville, Alabama.

Visitation is planned for Monday, May 26, 2008 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Bladen Funeral Home. A graveside service will be Tuesday, May 27, 2008 at 11:00 AM at Watson Family Cemetery with Rev. John Guyton and Rev. James Floyd officiating.
