Louise Pait Smith, 90, of Bladenboro went home to be with the Lord on March 8, 2021. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hayes E. Pait and Minnie Williamson Pait, her husband Lundgran Smith, one brother Eldon Pait and one sister Shirley Pait Smith.
Left to cherish her memory are her two sons, Fulton Smith and wife Mary Ann of Red Springs, Milton Smith and wife Colleen of Fayetteville, one brother, Wilton Pait and wife Yvonne of Harrisburg, NC, and two grandchildren, Micah Smith and Caleb Smith. She is also survived by one sister-in-law Elizabeth Pait, one brother-in-law Kenneth Smith, and also many nieces and nephews.
Louise was an independent and loving lady. She adored her family and was immensely proud of them. Louise also loved flowers, especially her camelias. She had 186 different varieties which she watered every day. She was a member of the Camelia Society of Wilmington and served on the Women’s committee of the NC Farm Bureau until her passing.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, March 11, 2021 at 11:00 am in the Oak Grove Church Cemetery in Bladenboro with Rev. Kevin Kinlaw officiating. All attendees are asked to wear masks and practice social distancing.
