Louraine Burney

Louraine Burney, age 79 of Lumberton, died Saturday, December 22, 2012 at West Bladen Assisted Living in Bladenboro. She is preceded in death by her husband, Henry Ford Burney, Sr.; a son, Henry Ford Burney, Jr.; an infant daughter, and a brother, Leon McLamb.



She is survived by a son, James Lawrence Burney; four daughters, Julie Ann Council, Linda Carneal, Betty Bryant and Eleanor Monroe; two brothers, J.P. McLamb and William Frank McLamb; three sisters, Gritha, Alice and Ann; fourteen grandchildren and twenty-four great grandchildren.



The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 23, 2012 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 24, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Mariah Church Cemetery in Maxton.
