Lucille Edge

White Oak Lucille Marshburn Edge, 84, of White Oak, died Sunday, May 7, 2006, at her home.



She was born in Robeson County to the late Robert Howard and Attie Hester Marshburn. She was a member of Suggs Grove Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School for more than fifty years.



Visitation will be 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 9, at Bladen Funeral Home. The funeral will be held 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 10, at Suggs Grove Baptist Church. Burial will be in Suggs Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.



She is predeceased by her husband, Badger B. Edge and son, James Dale Edge. She is survived by a son, Robert Beatty (Buddy) Edge of White Oak; daughter, Ann Edge Underwood and husband, John Underwood of Lumberton; sisters, Jean Ward of Sanford, NC, Josephine Somersett of Wilmington, NC, and Margaret G. Edge of White Oak; grandchildren, Suzette Edge Sorrell and husband John Bennett Sorrell of Fayetteville, NC, and Robert Beatty Edge, II of Fayetteville; and great grandchildren, Autumn Edge, Sloan Sorrell, and Bennett Sorrell.
