Lucille Hester

Mrs. Lucille S. Hester 77, of Bladenboro entered into eternal rest on Wednesday January 28 2009.

Mrs. Hester was born on July 8 1931, in Fairmont to Lee and Donnie Bell Shepard. Mrs Hester is preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Elden Glenn Hester and her brother, Lee Shepard Jr. of Fairmont. Lucille and Elden were married for 51 years. She loved her flowers and was a homemaker.



The family will receive friends on Sunday February 1, 2009, at Hickory Grove Baptist church at 3:00 p.m. The funeral services will follow at 4:00 p.m. with the Rev. Charles Hester and Thomas Whray officiating.Burial will follow in the church cemetery.



She is survived by one son, John Hester and partner Don Jacobs; one daughter Kim Hester Ball and husband Curtis; one brother Charles Shepard of Salisbury; one sister Bobbie Lee of Wallace and three grandchildren.
