Lydia cherished her two aunts: Aunt Mamie and Aunt Delphia.

Lydia's life was full. She was a wonderful wife, a loving Mother, "very cool" Grandma and a dear friend to all. She loved her family and friends and was a dedicated member of Central Presbyterian Church in Clarkton, NC.

She was a restaurateur and took pride in running her restaurant; 74-76 Sandwich Shop in Lake Waccamaw, NC for over 25 years where she served the community with delicious hot food and fellowship. Lydia was always "Happy to See You" and welcomed you with a smile!

Lydia loved to garden and work in her yard daily. She could make anything and everything grow! She often visited those that were ill and shut-in taking them food, fellowship and anything else they may need. She was multi-talented as she could cook, sew, knit and crochet anything. Her great sense of humor and kind words were always there to make your day! You could hear her say, "don't forget to come by and pick up pecans" and "come when you can"!

Lydia will be missed by all and her kindness and love will always be remembered!
