Mamie Thompson

Mamie Thompson, 86,Bladenboro,died Wednesday, September 13, 2006 at Elizabethtown Nursing Center.



Ms. Thompson was born to William B. Smith and Alice Haynes Smith on October 22, 1919.



She was predeceased by her husband, C.I. Thompson, and granddaughter, Tiffany T. Meares.



She is survived by her son, Tommy Thompson of Bladenboro; sister, Lottie Harris of Charlotte; one grandchild and three great grandchildren.



The visitation will be 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. Friday, September 15, 2006 at Shady Grove Baptist Church, Bladenboro, NC. The funeral will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 16, 2006 at Shady Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Michael Skinner and Rev. George Langley officiating.



In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to Lower Cape Fear Hospice, P.O. Box 1984, Elizabethtown, NC 28337.
