Margaret Amentt

Margaret Edna Amentt, age 96, of Council passed away on Saturday, August 25, 2018 at Elizabethtown Nursing Center. She is preceded in death by her parents: Richard Donnell and Amelia Weindofer Donnell and her husband Joseph Amentt. Margaret leaves behind two sons: Michael Amentt and wife Donna of Fuguay Varina, Joseph Amentt and wife Liz of Sicklerville, NJ; one daughter: Barbara Saunders of Council, ten grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.

Margaret was born and grew up in Philadelphia. She married the love of her life Joseph Amentt and moved to Delco, NC in 1969. They lived there until 2001 when the family moved to Council. Margaret was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and attending her Catholic church. She will be greatly missed.

A graveside service at Greenlawn Cemetery will be announced at a later time.
