Margaret F. French, 93, died at home on April 2, 2013.
Margaret was known by her family and close friends as "Darlie" or Aunt Mag. She measured her wealth in friendships nurtured throughout her lifetime. The epitome of elegance and grace, Darlie was a true southern lady and devout Christian. Her love and influence had no bounds, and those she touched shared her wealth. She loved God's creations, particularly flowers and song birds, which received her tender care and rewarded her by blooming and singing.
Visitation will be held at the Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home in Elizabethtown on Saturday, April 6th from 6:00 - 8:00 pm. The memorial service will be conducted at the Elizabethtown Presbyterian Church on Sunday, April 7th at 2:30 pm. Family and friends will gather for internment at the Elizabethtown Cemetery following the church service.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in memory of Margaret F. French to the Quality Deer Management Association, P.O. Box 160, Bogart, GA. Donations also can be made online at
