Margie Evans

Margie Tatum Evans, age 86 of White Oak, died Thursday, December 22, 2016 at home. She is preceded in death by her parents, Homer and Aleen Tatum; brothers-in-law, Roscoe Sessoms, Robert Dunn and Howard Chason.

She is survived by her sons, Tony Evans (Carla) and Richard "Ricky" Evans (Jan); sisters, Lib Sessoms, Ann Dunn, Shirley Chason, and Judy Bradshaw (Ed); and brother, Vern Tatum (Linda); 7 grandchildren, Kristen "Brooke" Johnson (Eric), Hilda "Brittney" Allen (Jordan), Ashley Renee Bunnell (Trey), Samantha Lynn Abernathy (David), Olivia "Tatum" Evans, Katherine Alexandria Peterson (Daniel) and Richard "Rick" Vernon Evans (Brittany); and 12 great grandchildren, Kylie Johnson, Brianna Fowler, Landon Farley, Madilyn Farley, Bristol Allen, Nathaniel Evans, Addyson Abernathy, Harper Allen, Roxy Bunnell, Sully Peterson, Boyce Allen, and Charlie Peterson.

A service will be held on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Bethlehem United Methodist Church in White Oak. Visitation will follow in the Fellowship Hall. Services will be officiated by Rev. Dr. Timothy Reaves and Rev. Karen Davis.
