Margie Floyd

Margie Floyd, 83, of Bladenboro, passed away Friday, April 5, 2013. She was born on January 1, 1930 in Boardman, NC to the late James and Fannie "Susie" Inman. Margie married her late husband of 56 years Dan C. Floyd and lived in Florida for 57 years until she moved back to NC to reside with her daughter. She was preceded in death by nine other siblings.
She is survived by two sons: Dan C. Floyd Jr. and wife Jill of Apopka, Fla and Dennis J. Floyd and wife Judith of Florida, two daughters: India Hester and husband Alexander of Bladenboro and Susan F. Floyd / Lisa Waters of Orlando, Florida, four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Margie enjoyed being a homemaker and serving the Lord. She will be greatly missed.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, April 7, 2013 at Dublin First Baptist Church at 2:00 PM with Rev. Cameron McGill officiating. Family will receive friends after the service at the church. At other times, the family will meet at the home of India and Alexander Hester of 553 Hester Mill Rd, Bladenboro, NC 28320.
