Marion Bowen

Marion Bowen, 75, of Butler Mill Road, Bladenboro passed away on Tuesday, February 08, 2011 at his home. He was employed with the Town of Bladenboro in maintenance for 32 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Chellie Dyson Bowen; two brothers,Garland and Howard Bowen; and one sister, Irene Benton.



He is survived by one son, Dennis Bowen and wife Veronica of Fayetteville; three step-sons, Kenneth Williams of the home, Donnie Williams of Elizabethtown and Steve Williams of VA; one daughter, Mary Ann Brewer and husband Lloyd of Lumber Bridge;one step-daughter, Janie Robeson of St. Pauls; one brother, Clifton Bowen of Bladenboro; two sisters, Addie Lee Callihan of Clarkton and Louise Thompson of Bladenboro; two grandchildren and six great grandchildren.



The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 10, 2011 from 7:00 until 9:00 pm at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 11, 2011 at 2:00 pm at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dennis Bowen officiating. Burial will follow at Bullard Cemetery in Bladenboro.
