Mary Autry

Mary Lou Autry, 73 of Bladenboro passed away on Thursday, May 27, 2021. She is preceded in death by her parents, Shelton and Ida Fields Blackmon, husband, Dewitt Autry, four brothers: Billy Blackmon, Bob Blackmon, Johnny Blackmon, and Sammy Blackmon, three sisters: Betty Anderson, Esther Edwards, and Linda Willoughby.

Mary Lou is survived by three sons: Jeffrey Autry (Kim); Jerry Autry (Amy) and Joey Autry (Sherry), one daughter, Julie Autry, two brothers, Bennie Blackmon, and Thomas Cain, nine grandchildren, Justin Storms, Leif Autry, Jessica Autry, Justin Autry, Josh Autry, Logan Autry, Lainey Autry, Caleb Kinlaw and Brisun Floyd and numerous nieces, nephews, and sisters-in-law.

Mary Lou loved the Lord and her family. She enjoyed gathering with family and friends whether traveling or just sitting around the table together. Her laugh and smile were contagious. The love she had for others always came shining through. She will be missed a great deal.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 30, 2021 from 3:00 until 4:00 pm at Bladenboro Church of God. Funeral service will follow at 4:00 pm, with Rev. Joey Autry and Rev. Oneil Parker officiating. Burial will follow the services in the Singletary Cemetery at the Sandhills.
