Mary Bridgers Grainger

Mary Lou Bridgers Grainger, 57, of Bladenboro passed away on Wednesday, January 30, 2019. She was preceded in death by her parents: Austin Bridgers and Billie Faye Edwards Bridgers, two brothers: Mike Bridgers and Barry Bridgers, one sister: Lori Guyton and her grandparents Waitus and Lula Mae Edwards. Mary leaves behind her husband Danny Grainger of the home; two sons: Blake Davis (Samantha) of Bladenboro; Dustin Grainger, two daughters: Brittany Corbett (Sherman), Rhianna Lowery (James) of Lumberton; two sisters: Lisa Bridgers and Vicki Bridgers, both of Bladenboro; two grandchildren: Alahia Bridgers, Albert Ray Lowery, and many nieces and nephews.

Mary was a beautiful, loving, independent lady. She had a heart for the Lord and a voice like an angel. Mary cherished her family and always tried to see the good in everyone she met. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, warm weather, going to the beach, cooking and country decorating. There was nothing like a glass of her sweet tea. A light gone out too soon from this world but forever shining in that heavenly angel choir.

The family will receive friends from 2-3 pm on Sunday, February 3, 2019 at New Light Church in Bladenboro followed by a funeral service at 3 pm with Rev. Dale Hester and Rev. Bobby Smith officiating. Burial will follow the services in the Pine Crest cemetery in Bladenboro.
