Mary Huggins

Mary John Collier Huggins, 90, of Clarkton, NC passed away peacefully at her home on April 9, 2018.

Family will receive guests at Elizabethtown Baptist Church fellowship hall on Wednesday, April 11 from 2-4 pm with funeral services to follow in the sanctuary at 4pm. Arrangements are by Bladen Gaskins Funeral Home.

Mary John was born September 30, 1927 to Hubert and Addie Collier. She was the eldest of her siblings. Mary John was preceded in death by her parents, her brother James Arthur, her sister Beulah Guyton, husband Herman Huggins, and granddaughter Melissa Huggins Jones. She is survived by 4 sisters - Thelma Roberson (Ben), Jeanette Savage (Robert), Dorothy Smith (Robert), and Hazel Wallace (Billy); 4 children - Jimmy Huggins (Suzanne), Ron Huggins (Claudia), Kenneth Huggins (Barbara), and Linda Fassnacht (Robin); 8 grandchildren - Jennifer Potter (Mike), Matthew Huggins, Amber Hardee, Nicholas Fassnacht (Alyssa), Joshua Huggins, Bridget Robinson (Jeremy), Travis Fassnacht, and Ross Huggins; 11 step-grandchildren - Smith Royall, Sam Royall, Ashley Bunnell (Trey), Samantha Abernathy (David), Jane Clark, Keth Houseal (Jessica), Marie Vasquez (Carlos), Ellen Houseal, Laura Biggs (Joseph), Colin Houseal (Hannah), and Brian Tart (Heather); and many loving great-grandchildren.
