Mary Taylor

Mary Carlton Taylor, 63, of Bladenboro passed away Tuesday, September 5, 2017. She is preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Lessie Carlton, brothers: Lonnie, Carlton, Kenny Carlton, Harold Glen Carlton, Raymond Jeffrey Carlton, and Edisel Franklin Carlton and sisters: Joyce Lucille Carlton and Joyce Maxime Johnson. Mary is survived by her husband Billy Ray Taylor of the home, children: Michael Carlton and wife Diane Carlton of Lumberton, Lisa Turbeville and husband Craig of Clarkton; Ivy Taylor and Billy Herring of Bladenboro; Billy Taylor II and fiancé Lori Daugherty of Dublin and Christy Ezzell and husband Jeff of Bladenboro; sisters: Suzanne Hales and Joanne Gaddis, brothers: Bobby Carlton, Roger Carlton and wife Nadine and Rowland Carlton, grandchildren: Mary Taylor, Travis Taylor, Hunter Crousere, Kayla Ezzell, Michael Carlton, Harley Carlton, Austin Turbeville, Savannah Turbeville, Aaron Ezzell and Kenny Carlton.

Mary was a loving, caring, strong willed and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. A hardworking woman that loved her coffee and cigarettes and loved to cook for her loved ones. Her word was her bond and she will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her.

The family will receive friends from 1-3 pm on Friday, September 8, 2017 at Bladen Gaskins Funeral Home in Elizabethtown followed by a funeral service at 3 pm. Burial will follow the services in Taylor Cemetery in Lumberton.
