Mary Lois Tysinger

Lois Tysinger, 93 of Lumberton passed away at her home on Saturday, January 13, 2024.

She is preceded in death by her husband, John Tysinger; parents, Luke and Ettie Butler Nance;  daughter, Paula Grant; sisters, Albertie Bunell, Ina Belle Davis, Carlain White, and Josephine McCurley. brothers, Harvey, Clyde, Wilbur, and Ozell Nance.  

Lois is survived by her daughter, Susan Britt and husband Lacy of Lumberton; daughter-in-law, Yvonne Tysinger;  sister, Vivian Bentley of Florida; two grandchildren, Tommy Smith and wife Tanya; Heather and husband Hunter and four great grandchildren; BJ; Timothy (Ariana); Hunter, Taylor (Mollie);  two great great grandchildren, Hasley and Harper; and several nieces and nephews.

Lois loved her family especially her daughter, Susan and grandson Tommy. She knew that if she needed anything they were there to help out in anyway possible. She loved to talk on the phone with her family and friends to find out how they were doing.

An entombment service will be held on Thursday, January 18, 2024 at 1:00 pm at the Lafayette Memorial Park & Mausoleum, 2301 Ramsey Street, Fayetteville, NC 28301.
