Maurice Brisson

Maurice Ray Brisson, 68, of Tar Heel went to his eternal home on Saturday, August 21, 2021.

He is preceded in death by his parents Maurice Alexander Brisson and Betty Ray Brisson. He is survived by his loving wife Janice Brown Brisson of 50 years. Maurice Ray was a loving and devoted daddy to his three children, Daughter, Kim Brisson Hardin and husband Waylon of Lumberton Nc. Sons, Ben Brisson and wife Shannon of Tar Heel Nc. Jim Brisson and wife Erin of Bladenboro. His most precious pride and joys were his grandchildren, Alexander Thomas, Caroline Grace, Gavin Ray(children of Ben and Shannon Brisson) Adelind Jane (daughter of Jim and Erin Brisson)

Maurice Ray was a devoted member of his community who was always willing to lend a helping hand to his friends and neighbors. He was a hard working man who loved farming and running heavy equipment.  Maurice Ray will surely be missed by his family and all of his friends.

A graveside service will be held at 2pm on Sunday, August 29th in the Allen Cemetery with Rev. Warren Hill officiating. The service will be viewable online via Bethel Baptist Church Facebook page.
